Often referred to as tendonitis or tendinopathy, Tendon pain encompasses a number of commonly seen conditions. Golfers and Tennis Elbow, patella tendinopathy (jumper’s knee), Achilles tendinopathy, Rotator cuff syndrome- the list is lengthy! The ‘art’ of tendinopathy treatment is to tread the magical line between too much and too little. Often tendons need the opportunity to settle but improve most effectively when they are ‘loaded’ optimally. As well as the tricky load management process we have a raft of other measures to try and both speed up recover and to make activities easier and importantly reduce pain.
